Here is one of my daily quotes from Abraham.  You can go to their site and sign up for your own daily quotes.  I find much truth in these.  They make me feel good.  They make me think about what I am focusing on and what I am attracting in my life.

"We are really advocates of just getting as happy as you can be—which takes care of everything. Even if you don't have reason to be happy—make it up. Fantasize it. Make a decision that you're going to be happy one way or another—no matter what. "No matter what, I'm going to be happy! If I have to ignore everybody; if I have to never watch television again; if I have to never pick up a newspaper again, I'm going to be happy. If I never have to see that person's face again, I'm going to be happy. If I have to see that person's face, I'm going to find something to see in that person's face that makes me happy. I'm going to be happy. I'm going to be happy. I'm going to be happy."

Are Stress And Inflammation Impacting Your Health?

By now you’ve undoubtedly heard the phrase “mind-body connection,” but how much do you know about how this connection really works? Recently, researchers have begun to explore the role of inflammation as one of the main links between psychological stress and your physical health. More than just being a source of psychological discomfort, experiencing stress over a long period of time can actually produce high levels of inflammation in your body. Left unchecked, these high levels of inflammation are connected with a variety of chronic diseases. Understanding the relation of stress to physical health can help you make healthy choices to improve your overall well-being.

Stress and Inflammation

Chronic stress, or stress that occurs over a long period of time, has the power to disrupt your body’s ability to regulate inflammation. In a healthy body, the hormone cortisol plays a major role in regulating inflammation, which occurs as part of your body’s immune response. However, cortisol is also one of the main hormones involved in your body’s stress response. During times of stress, when cortisol is present in high levels for an extended period of time, the cells in your body actually begin to become immune to cortisol’s regulatory effects. This allows inflammation to occur at higher levels than your body would normally allow.

Inflammation and Health

Inflammation can often be a necessary immune response in the short-term, allowing your body to address an infection or heal a wound. However, researchers are beginning to find that inflammation is linked to a variety of chronic diseases including diabetes, irritable bowel syndrome, high blood pressure, heart disease, and even some cases of depression. So it’s in your body’s best interest to reduce your overall levels of chronic inflammation.

How to Reduce Inflammation Caused by Stress

Although some inflammation in the body is caused by poor diet and lack of exercise, it is important to recognize the role of stress in contributing to chronic inflammation. Engaging regularly in stress-reducing practices such as meditation can help to alleviate the negative impact of stress on your health. If you would like to learn more about inflammation and are curious about steps you can take to improve your health, please contact us.

Spring Cleaning and Detoxification

image

Do you spring clean your home every year? It certainly helps to get the ground in dirt, toxins and crud out of the carpets, furniture, curtains and bedding and freshen up our living space.  It makes me feel better living in a clean house and perks me up after a long sluggish winter.  Wouldn’t it make sense to spring clean your body as well?  Toxins and pollutants have a tendency to build up in our bodies just like in our homes. Many people don’t think about the importance of tissue and liver cleansing on a regular basis.

Our liver has many important metabolic functions. It converts the nutrients in our diets into substances that the body can use, then stores these substances and supplies our cells with them when they are needed. It also takes up toxic substances and converts them into harmless substances or sends them to our kidneys for more processing. Our liver helps break down fats to produce energy and helps to keep blood sugar balanced. When the liver is working at its best, it works quietly and efficiently behind the scenes.  Most of us take it for granted; that is until we start feeling really ill or start putting on weight that we can’t seem to get rid of.

Our modern world and our busy lifestyles contain a lot of things that can stress our liver.  Over processed food and casually popped pills are staples in most American households. Our liver is responsible for filtering and processing all of this junk. Unlike sore muscles, the liver won’t yell loudly when it’s overstressed.  Instead, the damage is cumulative and shows itself in fairly significant ways if you know what to look for. Chinese medicine recognizes the congestion of the liver as a reason for many ailments.  This is not something that modern medicine is set up to detect or address.

Here are some signs that your liver is not performing as well as it could:

·  Loss of energy and pep

·  Unexplained weight gain

·  Difficulty losing weight

·  Chronic headaches including migraines

·  Poor memory or concentration

·  Skin issues (Eczema, Psoriasis)

·  Pain in the muscles and joints

·  Wakefulness between 1:00am and 3:00am

·  Pain under the right ribcage

·  Feeling angry all the time

If any of these things apply to you, it is time to consider a liver cleanse to help your body cleanse and detoxify.  The 15-day Tiao He Cleanse is my number 1 go-to liver cleanse program.  All you have to do is take 2 packets a day and adjust your diet for maximum benefit.  I recommend drinking at least ½ your wt. in ounces of water per day, limit meat to 1 meal a day and really bulk up on the fresh veggies and fruit for maximum results. Tiao He Cleanse is a best seller at NSP and it will give your body what it needs to jump-start your healing process and cleanse multiple systems. I personally do the Tiao He Cleanse twice a year; Spring and Fall. In between times I like the Cleanstart Wildberry for a good colon and cellular cleanse.  Contact us for more details about the products mentioned above or a personalized recommendation on the right supplements for you.

Do You Have Candida/Yeast Overgrowth?

Doctors estimate that 75% of the female population has experienced symptoms of Candida/Yeast overgrowth.  My personal experience with clients indicates that an even higher percentage of people are struggling with systemic Candida/Yeast overgrowth.  Many aren’t even aware that this imbalance could actually contrIbute to more than 90% of their health issues.

Candida/Yeast overgrowth is an insidious condition that creeps up on you over time, usually a result of antibiotic use and poor diet.  Many people have Candida/Yeast overgrowth, but it is not to the point where they are suffering from severe symptoms.  It is however doing damage to various parts of the body and your body is under the stress of this imbalance.

Many people have tried over the counter cleanses and had good success with them, however others have been disappointed in their results.  This is because Candida/Yeast overgrowth and how it affects the body is very individualized.  Only you, yourself and your body really know what is going on in your body and how to handle it.  This is where muscle response testing comes in.  Your body talks to the practitioner and reacts positively or negatively to various test points, foods, herbs and lifestyle practices.  Together you and the practitioner can put together the right program for you based on your body’s communication.

I will help you develop a successful program of diet, herbs and lifestyle changes that will bring your body back into balance.  We will look at indications of Leaky Gut, inflammation, food allergies and which herbs are best suited for you.   Candida/Yeast can be difficult to get a handle on, but don’t you want the best possible program to follow that is geared to your individual needs?

Conditional love is: I will only love you if you love me.
Unconditional love is:I will love you even if you do not love me.
It’s really easy to love passing strangers unconditionally. They demand nothing of you. It is really hard to love people unconditionally when they can hurt you.

Theta Healing Technique for Understanding Unconditional Love

February marks the season for Love and Valentines. Most of us have joined in the holiday traditions of telling or showing those who are special to us that we love them through cards and gifts, date nights and promises.  We look forward to receiving the same as well.  But what about those who can’t join in or are left out because they are alone or different or seem weird etc.?

Perhaps it is time to dig a little deeper this year and think about the concept of unconditional love and what that really means.

The dictionary states the following for “unconditional”. wholehearted, unqualified, unreserved, unlimited, unrestricted, unmitigated, unquestioning, complete, absolute, unequivocal.

And states the following for “love” compassion, care, regard, solicitude, concern, friendliness, kindness, charity, goodwill, benevolence.

So, the best I can come up with is something like “ absolute, unreserved, unlimited, unquestioning compassion, care, regard, and kindness.  Have you ever experienced this kind of love or have been able to give this kind of love to others?

All I know for sure is that God has unconditional love for all of us; meaning that he loves and cares for us no matter what we do, what we say or who we are.  He separates the deeds from the human being.

Unconditional Love brings a special kind of peace and joy into our lives.  It allows us to see the bigger picture, as God sees it; without prejudice, or hurt feelings, or the desire to convince someone to agree with us. When we start looking a little deeper we can find not only our humanity in each other but also find that piece of God that exists in each and every one of us.  We are all extensions of God and as such are capable of the same unconditional love he shows us. So what if we learned to love ourselves and others unconditionally, (warts and all)?  Think of how this would change the world.

The ThetaHealing Technique can help us learn God’s definition and understanding of unconditional love.  In ThetaHealing one of the most common beliefs I find is “God loves me unconditionally NO” as well as “I love myself unconditionally NO” This results in a major block to feelings of peace and joy and the ability to love unconditionally. Through  ThetaHealing Technique downloads, these beliefs can be changed and new patterns of thinking can be learned that focus on positive feelings of well-being, love, joy, and peace.

How many of us have unfriended someone because they have a different political or religious belief? How many of us criticize others because we have different ways of living or different priorities that “bug us”?  Have we been mean to others, or called them names? Has the same happened to us?  How does this make us feel?  Happy? Joyful?  Whenever we look for what is wrong in people or in the world, we cut ourselves off to feelings of well-being, peace, and joy. I believe it is possible to love someone unconditionally, but not like what they did or said.  We can do this on a personal level as well as on a global level with help from the ThetaHealing Technique. For more information on this technique visit www.thetahealing.com.

As a Valentines Day Special, I am offering 2 ThetaHealing Sessions for only $150.00.  At the normal price of $100 each session, that is a $50 savings.  I hope you will take advantage of this special offer to help you let go of beliefs that no longer serve you and set a course for more joy, peace and unconditional love in your life.  2018 is going to be a Great Year!  Are you ready to receive all it has to offer?

ThetaHealing Technique (excerpt from Vianna’s website, www.thetahealing.com)

Mission Statement: To change the world one person at a time and show everyone their true connection to The Creator of All That Is. We aim to bring forward the best in all people.

The ThetaHealing technique is a world renown healing method that was created by Vianna Stibal in 1995 during her own personal journey back to health and after she healed from a 9-in tumor her leg.

The ThetaHealing technique is a meditation technique and spiritual philosophy - not specific to one religion but accepting them all - with the purpose of getting closer to the Creator. It is a training method for your mind, body, and spirit that allows you to clear limiting beliefs and live life with positive thoughts, developing virtues in all that we do. Through meditation and prayer, the ThetaHealing Technique creates a positive lifestyle.

The ThetaHealing technique is always taught to be used in conjunction with conventional medicine. It teaches how to put to use one’s own natural intuition, relying upon unconditional love of Creator Of  All That Is to do the actual “work.” We believe by changing your brain wave cycle to include the “Theta” state, you can actually watch the Creator Of All That Is create instantaneous physical and emotional wellbeing. We have learned that through the ThetaHealing Technique intuitive abilities can be used to bring about spontaneous physical and emotional wellbeing.

Our philosophy is to live, train, and coach others how to achieve a better life through the pure essence of love. This technique allows us to work with the Creator to help attain harmony in our mind, body, and spirit. We are best known for the 7 Planes of Existence. Using this concept, the practitioner uses the meditation technique to connect with a higher spiritual power of his/her own belief and commands a change as requested by that individual.

The ThetaHealing® technique is best described as an attainable miracle for your life.

Powerful Rosemary

herbalistash:

A powerful healer that brings clarity!

According to folklore Rosemary originally had white flowers; until however, they turned red after the Virgin Mary laid her cloak on the brush. Since the time of ancient Greece (1000 B.C.) Rosemary was burned as incense. Later cultures believed it warded off Devils, a practice that eventually became adopted by the sick, who then burned Rosemary to protect against infection. Rosemary may also be added to smudge sticks.

Medicinal properties of Rosemary:

  • Liver-protecting
  • Antitumoral
  • anti-fungal
  • antibacterial
  • antiseptic
  • anti-parasitic
  • enhances mental clarity/concentration

Studies have found that Rosemary increases memory by 75%, when inhaled. Try “Young Living” Rosemary essential oil daily to help increase mental clarity, memory, and concentration.

Rosemary also aids in recovery from long term stress and chronic illness. It is thought to stimulate the adrenal glands and used specifically for debility

Rosemary is an invaluable herb that raises the spirits!

Healthy Pumpkin Spice Latte

This dairy-free pumpkin spice latte is naturally-sweetened and vegan, for a healthy alternative to Starbucks. It’s ready in just minutes!

Ingredients

Instructions

1.    Combine all of the ingredients in a high-speed blender, and blend until smooth and creamy. (Or you can simply whisk the ingredients together in a pan over medium heat on the stove– use a whisk to combine well!)

2.    Adjust flavor to taste, and serve warm. A high-speed blender should keep the contents hot enough to serve immediately, but if you’re using a traditional blender, you may want to transfer the contents to a saucepan and warm over the stove top before serving.

Recipe Notes:

  • You can use any milk you like to make this recipe. I use almond milk most often, but homemade hemp milk is also delicious.
  • You can also use any sweetener you like, since you can taste this recipe as you go. If you use a granulated sweetener, like coconut sugar, you’ll just have to make sure the sugar crystals dissolve completely before serving.

Hope you enjoy it!
